Neurolinguistic

NLP techniques are based on the relationship between emotion, behavior, neurology, and communication. Understanding this framework, and following the neuro-linguistic markers provided by the client, the practitioner is able to guide the client towards “reprogramming” his/her response patterns to certain stimuli, towards his/her goals of balanced living, and/or refined performance.

A neurobiological method, it is theorized that brainspotting allows clients to access their limbic and autonomic systems through the relationship with those centers of the brain and the optic nerve.

Fixing the eyes on identified spots in which a client has heightened awareness of an unwanted emotion, sensation or thought pattern, he/she is guided to locate in the brain, process, and release emotional or behavioral patterns that he/she no longer wishes to experience.
