Hypnotherapy bypasses the thinking mind, tapping into the vast and wise subconscious mind through a non-ordinary state of consciousness and skilled guidance. It is a powerful tool for personal improvement and evolution, often effecting rapid, profound, and lasting positive effects.
Transpersonal hypnotherapy, as practiced by Kristin, goes “next level” by blending the most effective approaches from all forms of hypnotherapy, taking a holistic approach to far-reaching positive transformation, and even quantum field healing, as it matches a client’s individual goals.
The “trance” state in hypnotherapy is easily achieved, and full awareness remains intact. In fact, many clients are surprised to learn that all hypnosis is really self-hypnosis. Most people move in and out of this non-ordinary state of consciousness several times per day, most commonly in the moments just before falling asleep. This “trance” is not at all an unfamiliar state, and with expert guidance, clients are able to achieve astounding and life-improving results. (It is an honor and joy to witness it each day!)
Hypnotherapy Techniques, and Modality Blends
There are many different techniques to draw on for hypnotherapy sessions. Kristin spends time with clients to learn and discuss which technique(s) will be the best for him/her, and she also creates unique methods to meet the unique needs of clients.
More than one modality can be used during each session. For some clients, it is best to begin the session with a different modality, experience positive shifts and insights, and then move into hypnotherapy. After discussion and deeper exploration, it is often the case that clients gravitate towards a blended approach of multiple modalities. Kristin is adept at tailoring approaches to meet clients’ needs and goals, meeting the client with the right methods for each moment.
The subconscious mind often presents things through symbolic, metaphorical, and unexpected representation. You will be reminded to “trust your first impressions” during the process, temporarily disengaging some logical thought sequencing, using imagination as a bridge into the subconscious regions. Whatever comes up is ready to come up, and can be addressed. Trusting in the wisdom of your mind and body, and recognizing the vastness of the subconscious mind (and quantum field), you recognize that far more is possible than we are sometimes taught.
By tapping into your inner wisdom (in its pure form before all of life’s “programming”), you may restore systems to balance, harmony, and natural development, you may step out of entanglements, out of limiting patterns and pain, and step into a higher level of living. You will be reminded to “trust the process”, and you will be helped to deeply connect with and to trust your own inner wisdom and guidance.
Sessions tend to get better and better as the mind becomes accustomed to moving into the state of consciousness you are asking of it, and as positive shifts are experienced. As with many things, practice brings benefits. Experienced clients sometimes don’t need quite as much time in session, but it varies depending on what he/she is working on. Regardless of experience, sometimes a longer session is more fruitful, particularly for regression, progression, or interlife work.
